While things are constantly changing, it would be a good thing to consider maintenance, tools and parts.
This is on my mind, as I get ready to see what I can do about a brake caliper bolt with a Torx recess, that it stripped out. I am also about to begin the tear-down and remodel of a large panel bus, into mobile living space, for my wife and I. I'm sure it will be an enlightening source of examples and chances to gain foresight into the whole process.
Antone that does their own work on homes and autos has had the experience of not being able to find that one particular tool, or the agony of trying to reach that poorly placed bolt, connector, or the dropped tool/part that got into an inaccessible space...
With technology ever evolving, installing chases for wiring, plumbing, additions and upgrades should be seriously considered, as well as bulkhead fittings and bulkhead connectors.
With modern wireless technology, consider that the ability to recharge a backup battery, through an external connection, is an inevitable need. A physical bypass on electronic security measures, such as locks and alarms might be worth consideration.
Plumbing is also a high-maintenance accessibility issue. Excellent plumbing may outlast generations, but once it starts failing, it must be accessible.
Keep in mind, too, that the spaces can become home to timy invaders, such as ants, spiders, wasps, snakes, algae, fungi, and microbial colonies...

In some cases, enclosed spaces can be set up with cheap $20 video cameras, so you need not break any seals to take a look inside.
