Submitted the site through Moz/Bing/Yahoo/AOL, once they view the site, they will submit to the other major sites. Sometime this year, we might get traffic through search engines. I forget the exact set of categoried, but I put it under homesteading, posted the name as Gulfsteading, the link to the home-page, and described it as homesteading in the Gulf of mexico, and oceans,
Everyone can submit, if they want. Just once, per search-engine, per person. More than that could cause problems.

Woot! out of sheer boredom, I used the Front page Search, at PCH... 4 results for 'gulfsteading'... 1st is an old conversation between Patri Friedman and Vince Cate, the rest lead here...

Hmm! I see! I thought such processes are very smooth and create no problem. But thanks a lot for sharing this here with people like me. I think Google Adwords Management has become really strict with such things.

Search engine submissions and management can be optimized by really good marketing companies. Thanks to my friend who referred one of the budgeted Google Adwords Management for internet promotions few months back. Hired them immediately after discussing all the terms and conditions. Process followed by them is praiseworthy.
