Friend and mentor, Thomas H. Culhane is running a miniature biogas digester experiment, in his bathroom. 2-stage treatment of feces. Anaerobic digestion, followed by aerobic digestion. IMHO, he's missing a step, and should be using seperated urine to pretreat paper, and then include that in the anaerobic digestion, for a better Carbon-to-Nitrogen ratio...

FWIW, using aerobic treatment after a biogas digester renders the effluent essentially to water with some insoluble particles... The Aerobic microbes use up the available nutrients... This is something I learned in the last few days...
