if you're going to do drastic, gross movements like letting a trailer tilt with the gas flowing. Also be aware that water is heavier than gas, so gravity fed means that any water that gets into your portable tank will end up in your vessel's tank. I am extremely disappointed that you feel i require this level of coaching.

Considering the current state of fuels, with the added alcohol, water is going to get into the fuel, anyway. Most of us are also aware of water in fuel containers, even from simply having a gas can and filling yard equipment.
People are also generally aware that filters tend to trap water that is not emulsified, stopping engines completely, as well as being aware of additives to aid the emulsification, for such small quantities as can be expected in fuel, fuel tanks, and condensed in tanks from the atmospheric venting.
Let's not fuss about little things we are generally aware of...

Larry is an instructor. His response, should be seen as such. It is informative, for those otherwise unaware of these things. He doesn't know everything we know, or what we know. There is no intent to belittle anyone. Kathy, I count myself fortunate to know someone as smart as you, and tolerant of my lesser abilities. You have an almost intuitive grasp of things I can barely muddle through, and know so many things I am incapable of learning. Incapable... I cannot comprehend programming. It is as far beyond me, as art is beyond the comprehension of an ant. DOING... Your abilities far outstrip mine in many areas. Knowledge... We each know, intimately, the gnit-picky details of our own fields of knowledge. That's why there's a forum to express, ask, and respond to the various interests and aspects of our own designs, and attempt to address the commonalities, as well.

Well, when one completely disregards standard practices in favor of homegrown or unique, one may be:
-A genius who sees something everyone else has missed (possible) -An arrogant idiot (quite common) -Ignorant of the standard practice (Quite common and somewhat excusable) -Trying to do something differently for cost reasons, which generally entails extra risk (and deserves explicit discussion) -Some combo of the above
I do have access to a great many people who are working on the water daily, I've been working with them, and I've been operating and maintaining a boat continuously in the water for a couple-three years now. I do not see any standard practice equipment that relies upon gravity feed tanks being tilted from a trailer at the dock into a boat's fuel tank. I've been made aware of the environmental concerns and real motivations of the marina operators through association with people who LIVE the lifestyle. I do see that transfer tank solutions often (generally) include water separating fuel filters. I think that the combination of those factors justifies mentioning that it may not be the best way to accomplish your goals. But if you just want to be generally pissy and engage in the same paranoid anti-social "woe is me" bullshit, feel free. If for some odd reason you think you're being funny, take note, it's really just annoying and has no redemptive value whatsoever.
As for what kind of vehicle I think you should use, I don't. I am pointing out difficulties and problems with certain assumptions. How you choose to address those is up to.
